Visit the hotel reception desk to check in.
And, please visit "Honjo Symposium Reception Desk" at the first floor of Shinagawa Prince Hotel East Tower for symposium registration and receipt of travel support fund.

2. If you check in at 3:00 PM-9:00 PM on August 18 (Fri)
Please visit "Honjo Symposium Reception Desk" at the first floor of Shinagawa Prince Hotel East Tower for hotel check-in, symposium registration and receipt of travel support fund.

3. If you check in later than 9:00 PM on August 18 (Fri)
Visit the hotel reception desk to check in.
And, please visit Symposium Office at 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at Plaza Heisei for symposium registration and receipt of travel support fund.

4. If you check in August 19 (Sat) or come to Plaza Heisei directly without staying in Shinagawa Prince Hotel
Visit Symposium Office at 8:30 AM-3:00 PM at Plaza Heisei for symposium registration and receipt of travel support fund.

Purpose of the 20th Anniversary Event

Honjo International Scholarship Foundation (HISF) was established in December 25th 1996. Since then, over 600 scholars from more than 70 countries have been awarded the scholarship. On the occasion of the historical 20th Anniversary, we would like to organize an international symposium in Tokyo, Japan and gather the alumni in one place. The symposium will have scholastic presentations about their activities including "glimpse of future of the peaceful international society", and also they’ll have international interactions.

The main purposes of the symposium are as following:
• To review the achievements of HISF during past 20 years through the research activities and social activities of OB / OGs.
• Read the world in the next 20 years
• Promote the foreign study to Japan from the foreign countries and vice versa
• Rediscover the Japanese Culture

November 30, 2016: Deadline for registration of attending the symposium (The first tentative deadline)
December 31, 2016: Deadline for submission of Abstracts
March 31, 2017: Deadline for registration of attending the symposium (Final)
March 31, 2017: Deadline for Paper submission
June 30, 2017: Deadline for registration of attendance and request of accommodation
July 15, 2017: Final confirmation of your registration, hotel reservation and your action schedule of symposium
July 31, 2017: Deadline to submit the slides of presentation at Paper Presentation Sessions
